What Are the Akashic Records, and Why They Hold the Key to Your Manifesting Success

In this article, I’m going to discuss the Akashic records, what they are, and why (for many people) they hold the key to successful manifestation.

What are the Akashic records?

The Akashic records are a vast energetic database containing all of the information about your soul’s history, such as current life lessons, past life lessons, life focus, and much more. They do not exist in the 3D, but in a higher dimension. There are different ways to access the Akashic records. Some people enter the records by getting into a meditative state, and others enter the records by saying a pathway prayer. There are also other things that are important to take into consideration when entering the records, however in this article I’m going to focus on why they are helpful when it comes to manifesting.

Why are the Akashic records helpful?

In addition to holding information that will help you successfully manifest, reading your Akashic records is extremely helpful in a number of different ways. Knowing details about why your soul chose to incarnate at this time can be extremely helpful, especially if you are feeling stuck or unsure about which direction to take in life. The Akashic records can help you get back on track and steer you in the direction your soul is wanting to go in.

Why are the Akashic records helpful when it comes to manifesting?

The Akashic records can tell you which type of lifetime you are currently in (it will either be a support lifetime, a learning lifetime, a contribution lifetime, or a holiday/rest lifetime). For those who are currently in a rest/holiday lifetime, following traditional manifesting advice will be a lot easier, because people who are in this type of lifetime are using this lifetime to rest and resource; therefore, their wounding from previous lifetimes is put “on ice”, to to speak. For those who are in another type of lifetime, however, a different approach to conscious creation may be needed, especially if the soul has incarnated with more unresolved wounding.

Because the Akashic records contain all of the information about your soul’s history, this means they contain information about any karmic complexes you may have that you are manifesting according to.

A karmic complex is a past life wound that sits in our subtle energy bodies, and broadcasts the energies corresponding with the complex (these energies conflict with whatever we are trying to manifest). As a result of this, we manifest according to what is being broadcast from these karmic complexes, until it is fully resolved. What this can look like is: continuously ending up in the same unwanted situations (for example, relationships with a partner that always cheats on you, landing a job but losing it within the next year), chronic health issues, and feeling as though something is blocking you even though you’ve already done a lot of work on yourself, to name a few things. These are just some examples; there are many more.

The Akashic records can tell you all of the information about any karmic complexes you have that are interfering with what you are trying to manifest. In addition to this, the Akashic records will also tell you other important information, such as which chakra(s) a karmic complex is affecting (karmic complexes usually affect a specific chakra), and the specific energies that encapsulate the complex. For example, the negative energies surrounding one of my karmic complexes were: confusion, isolation, fear, and withdrawal. When I learned this, I was able to reflect back on my life and see how these energies had been present throughout my life and how they had impacted me.

The law of assumption (coined by New Thought author Neville Goddard) is a spiritual law that states our 3D reality is shaped by the beliefs and assumptions we hold about ourselves and the world, and that we manifest according to the contents of our subconscious mind. This law is real, however, this law (along with other popular manifesting laws) doesn’t take into consideration your soul’s history, which will affect how you manifest subconsciously. It is true that we are always manifesting using the law of assumption, every second of every day (a lot of the time, we are doing this unconsciously). It is also true that we are souls, with unique histories and unique objectives to accomplish each time we choose to incarnate here. This history and these experiences live in our energy system and quietly influence what we attract and experience in everyday life. Not knowing this history and these objectives can delay or block your manifesting all together. Harnessing the wisdom of your soul record can help you gain a better understanding of what it is you are wanting to do while here, and it can help you identify what specifically is blocking you from manifesting what you want.
